Challenge:  The law office of Sullivan & Ward, P.C. had an existing web site that needed an updated, fresh look.  They also wanted the capability to have dynamic content for news items on the home page and an Articles & Events page.

Challenge:  To drive more donors to the web, where they could schedule blood donation appointments on-line, and provide methods to measure success.

Solution:  Lighthouse Consulting created a new web site with a fresh GUI with dynamic content.  An administrative area was provided where staff at the Blood Center could easily maintain the content of the News, Events, Mobile Calendar, & Employment areas of the web site.  Visitors to the site can register as a donor, then schedule on-line appointments to donate blood.  An email application was created so that The Blood Center could send out email messages to existing donors asking them to schedule.  Also on-line reporting capabilities were developed so that The Blood Center could measure the number of on-line appointments scheduled.

Challenge:  The American Chiropractic Association needed an e-commerce solution for their catalog of products.  The ACA has special pricing levels for ACA members as well as quantity discounts based on ranges of quantities and specific quantities of products purchased.

Solution:  Lighthouse Consulting provided an e-commerce solution with an on-line catalog and shopping cart.  The products are stored in a MS SQL Server database with a shopping cart system based on MS Site Server Commerce Edition.  The solution was highly customized to allow for the quantity discounts and member pricing.

Challenge:  The Iowa Society of CPAs needed a fresh look for their existing web site, as well as a shopping-cart based Continuing Professional Education registration to replace the manual course registration process.  Another need was to provide an "forums" area where members could log on and join in conversations in a bulletin-board system.

Solution:  Lighthouse Consulting redesigned their existing web site with a java-based navigational system with pop-out menus.  We also added an e-commerce solution for class registration for Professional Education.  Another feature is the ability to become a member on-line and pay related membership fees in a secure environment, as well as a members-only bulletin board system.

Challenge:  Dallas County, Iowa did not have a web presence before Fall, 2000.  They needed a county government portal site for Dallas County residents and employees to visit to find out about services and download frequently requested forms.

Solution:  Lighthouse Consulting designed a web presence that has a back-end SQL server database containing member data so that members can do a Buyer's Guide search.  Also we created a search for a Dining Guide so that visitors to Iowa can search for restaurants by cuisine, location and other parameters.

Solution:  We designed an integrated solution that houses their FM music listings in a database, which is easily searchable on the web.  Also membership signup is simple, easy and secure - you can even select special premium gifts for certain levels of support.
